Yeah, I'm torn now, mainly because the sports media is so hell bent on a rematch (and hell bent on blowing up the BCS). I'm convinced it's going to be a snoozer so it may be better to have KSU finish better. I can get another shirt to match the 2011 Texas State Champs one I've got coming Monday.

Oh man I don't know about that. KU is not gonna stink it up again this early. No place to go but up. On a side note, KU needs to get into gear with some kind of TV network dealy-o. This exclusive access stuff I'm watching is pretty sweet.

Unfortuanetly, we live in a time where the best marketing for the school just happens to be the atheltic department. You don't see the glee club or the robocup team compelling people to buy jerseys. It's the athletics.

Yes, being broke was part of my college experience, but not every student is broke in college. You can tell me that you didn't run into the fratboy/soho who had their way paid for by mommy and daddy. I understand that being broke builds character, but talent should be rewarded. Some of the best business people out there made their money _after_ dropping out of college.

Give the players some pay.

Being broke is part of the college experience, no matter who you are. Yeah, tuition, books, and room and board aren't the only costs of college, but I've never heard of any student having to take out a loan for the other stuff. The players are more than compensated as it is. Doesn't mean I agree with the universities exploiting them, but we don't need to pay them.
